World Renowned Glassware from the Kingdom of Crystal

This region  in southern part of Sweden,is known for its glassblowing traditions and numerous glass workshops. ScandiScot are representing two of them : Bergdala Design and Studioglas Strombergshyttan.

About Bergdala

Founded in 1889, Bergdala is one of the oldest Glassworks in the Kingdom of Crystal. Bergdala stands for tradition.The "Blue Line" (plates,bowls,glasses and jugs),still popular,has been around as long as the glasswork itself.                       

Bergdala has also put glass products in a new light : "Light in Art".Some of the sculptures are placed on top of a lightbase - with a surprising and stunning affect.

About Strombergshyttan

One of the youngest glassworks in the Kingdom of Crystal,founded 1987.Its modern creative designs are all a result of the curiosity about what glass can tolerate.This has led to advanced glassblowing techniques, that require great craftmanship.
